Barry’s Bootcamp Concept App
Barry’s Bootcamp is the original high-intensity workout that started in Los Angeles and has since expanded across the globe. This mobile app concept was created to show how a digital platform could scale to such an agile brand.
Your partner in fitness
Barry’s Bootcamp is sought after by celebrities and fitness enthusiasts alike. This popularity however, creates a gap for those who might find it intimidating. Which begs the question: How can a revolutionary fitness program be built around an individual’s needs?
PERSONALIZED PLANS ACCORDING TO FITNESS ACUMEN
When it comes to fitness, no individual is alike. By segmenting members and newcomers by fitness goals and overall fitness knowledge, we are able to personalize workout plans according to their individual needs.
IN-APP BOOKING
The cornerstone of the Barry’s app function is booking. The ability to quickly search and sort through classes and instructors is key for a quick and seamless experience. Set your preferred location to prompt the app to only show classes and instructors in your area. From there, you can pick a day and read more about the class and instructors. You will also be made aware of how many spots are left in a class as well as the option to be put on a waitlist should a class be full.
CHALLENGES & MILESTONES
Barry’s frequently offers its members monthly challenges as a means of setting and accomplishing fitness goals. Accomplishing these goals such as doing 19 classes within 30 days will earn you a reward upon its completion. As it currently stands, Barry’s currently tracks these accomplishments with a physical stamp card that is displayed on the wall of the member’s selected Barry’s. The concept of creating a space in the experience where members could track and visualize their goals is key for how I believe the app could scale in the future.
